  1. I love the weather we're having!

  2. how so many intro classes require these kinds of projects, causing weird blogs crop up for a week or two before getting forgotten and ignored. there are too many of these, they are just your friends responding, they don't show a good representation of w&m. good luck.

  3. I don't know who set up this blog. And I like it. And I love the people here.

  4. I hate that it's a controlled diversity. William and Mary is only as diverse as the admissions committee decides it wants to be. And they get to decide who is considered diverse.

  5. Not an intro class- or a class at all for that matter. But good guess ;)

  6. I love being constantly surrounded by intelligent people, whose creativity and inquisitiveness never cease to amaze me.

  7. I love Old Campus!

  8. I hate that people don't realize that just because they go here (or teach here), that alone does not make them an extremely intelligent or well-educated person. I don't know how anyone I met here could've managed to confused Yom Kippur and Ramadan. But they did. They never knew it in the first place. Gender is a socially constructed concept. It is, in fact, possible to behave in a way that supports sexism and racism even if you were not intending to do so.

  9. I hate people that say things like "gender is a socially constructed concept."

  10. Wren Chapel is the most wonderful small haven of its kind that I have found in many travels and visits to similar places. A great place to pray, read Scripture, and meditate.

  11. I hate that people can hate people that say things like "gender is a socially constructed concept."

  12. I hate having to do so much schoolwork, but I love my friends.
I also hate the term TWAMP. I'm pretty sure it just got made up for this year's freshmen.

  13. I like how the term TWAMP has been hated for years now (it's far from new). Thanks for giving me a chance to graduate from a great school when I was stuck in some run-down shack, w&m.

  14. I hate how small WAM makes me feel.

  15. I love the people around me who can open my mind to things I would never have thought about otherwise.

I hate the heat and humidity of early fall and late spring :/

  16. I love practically EVEYRTHING about WM, but my one issue of discontent is when people smoke directly outside Swem's door. It wouldn't be so much of an issue if it weren't for the fact that this is the ONLY point of entry and exit. :/

  17. I hate how W&M has a disgustingly false reputation of "amazing-ness" that precedes it. Professors, faculty, and staff here do not have their acts together. I've never had more time-wasting, useless assignments and classes in my life.

I have no idea how undergrads here can stand 4 years of this...I am so thankful I only had to suffer 14 months of this...May 16th can't come fast enough!

  18. I hate that W&M has a system of organized slavery. And I hate, that this school is still so racially divided. I also hate that this school is full of pretentious kids who look down upon people who don't act or dress like they do. College is not a fashion show or an excuse to display your wealth. I also hate how so many people on this campus will speak to you one day and act as if they don't know you the next.

I love that W&M is a place where there is more diversity than the average Virginia public college. I love that we are surrounded by such intelligent people who are talented and so supportive. And that at the end of the day, we always come out on top and come together.

  19. I LOVE THE DAILY GRIND!!! yeah.

  20. I love that most of you are complaining about things that you presume are unique to the atmosphere of a College (professors not having their acts together, dealing with the popularity contest/fashion show of college life, etc etc), whereas the truth is that that's the way it is going to be for the rest of your lives. People don't change after middle school; not really.

  21. I love (!) WCWM, the College radio station, but I hate that sometimes you can only listen to it online. I want to hear it in my car, all the time!

  22. The WCWM transmitter (i.e. radio waves) has been down for a week or two : /
You can still stream the station online, though! A link to the stream and a schedule of shows can be found at wcwm.org.

  23. I hate the housing system. And as a result of that I hate every Freshman ever. Ever.

  24. how administration has no connection to actual student needs or concerns, and, in fact, finds them irrelevant.

  25. I hate how we have to pay to send transcripts and that there's a "graduation fee." Excuse me, I thought 4 years tuition was the graduation and transcript fee! Community colleges manage to send transcripts for free, why not w&m?
