    I <3 Jesus. Before we were even considered by human minds he suffered and died a humliating death on a cross so that we might be free from the burden of sin and the eternal sonsequences that go with it. He said himself "Greater love has none than this, than to give up one's life for a friend," and he gave up his for me.

    I love that Jesus was given by God to die for the sins of humankind so that God could open heaven to everyone.

    ...so God is saving people from punishment by God through letting humanity kill His own son who He only created for the purpose of being killed and we should all be awed into piety by his sacrifice.
